The food concept for the restaurant was developed by star chef Edip Sigl as Culinary Director. The top chef and his team have cooked up 3 Michelin stars in the es:senz restaurant in the main establishment "Das Achental" in Grassau and, together with Max Müller, have developed a kitchen philosophy that perfectly matches the relaxed waves of a Lakeside Retreat - with sushi made from freshly caught Chiemsee fish, for example, or regionally inspired soul food - in other words, fine Bavarian hospitality - as you could only wish for after a long day by the water.

Daily from 12:00 to 14:00 and 18:00 - 21:00
Please note that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, but only in the bar and outdoor area.

Head chef Max Müller
Head chef Max Müller brings his deep connection to the region and a wealth of experience to the Chiemgauhof restaurant. Born in Upper Bavaria, he has honed his culinary skills in renowned establishments such as the Berlin Michelin-starred restaurant "Nobelhart & Schmutzig" and the "Stubn" in the Frasdorfer Hütte in the Chiemgau Alps.
His passion for regional and seasonal products is a key feature of his cuisine. Together with three-star chef Edip Sigl from the es:senz restaurant at the main hotel Resort Das Achental, he has developed the gastronomic concept of the Chiemgauhof, which combines traditional Bavarian cuisine with modern influences. Max attaches particular importance to reflecting the flavors and ingredients of the Chiemgau region in his dishes in order to offer guests an authentic yet innovative taste experience.
